As an agency we are immersed in the development of the creative sector in the north. We are a key member of the Marketeer Association (an industry body championing the marketing services sector outside London) and work closely with bodies such as the Creative Industries Development Service (CIDS). We are also committed to encouraging the next generation of creative talent and regularly conduct talks and lecture sessions for student groups and universities.

The standing of our agency across the creative sector is demonstrated by our repeated invitations to judge and design industry awards schemes. In the past year, Funnel representatives have been on the judging panels for the Cream Awards and The Scottish Design Agency Awards, whilst at the same time designing call for entries and awards materials for The Creative Circle Honours London and the newly formed Chip Shop Awards.

We may not enter the awards ourselves, but we do play an important part in deciding where they go and helping to shape our industry.
