Workforce Development Awards  |  Thursday, March 26, 2009  |  Recent news  |  Full news listing

The Workforce Development Awards is a new award from the National Employer Service(NES). The NES offers specialist advice on workforce development to national, multi-site employers with more than 5000 employees, supported by a direct funding contract with the LSC. The Awards are open to all employers who hold contracts with the NES.

In December we were approached by the NES to develop a new approach for the Workforce Development Awards, (formerly Learners first Awards) to help the brand shape and visualise its individuality.

Along with a new logo, (the graphic interpretation of a 'learning curve') we have electronic application forms, sponsor packs and Judges’ Guidance notes, paper call for entries, tickets, award programmes and winners’ books with fantastic new learner focused portraits by Rebecca Marshall.

These items and a set of very small guidelines, help set the Workforce Development Awards apart from all others of similar offering.

Like all of our work, these elements were carefully considered so that commitment to learning, as well as the long-term professional standing of the awards and NES is recognised and remembered.
